| Planning Department Our mission is to provide planning services that encourage orderly growth and development which will protect and preserve our natural resources, enhance the quality of life for our citizens, and promote opportunities for economic prosperity. The Planning Staff and Planning Board develop and enforce ordinances and land use regulations that have been approved by the County Commissioners. The Bladen County Planning Board meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. (effective October 10, 2006) in Room G7 of the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown.
